MSR dataloggers are now available with an external instead of internal 3-axis accelerometer!

External acceleration sensor (without protective cap) for MSR dataloggers. Dimensions: 13 mm x 11 (19 mm) The 3-axis accelerometer used in MSR dataloggers for measuring accelerations, shocks, vibrations, oscillations and shakes was to-date only available as an internal sensor. It is now possible however, to order all MSR dataloggers with an external instead of an internal 3-axis accelerometer. Especially for carrying out measurements at exposed locations such as vibration measurements at windows for instance, or stress measurements on pilots (with possible positioning of the sensor inside the helmet), an external accelerometer provides the ideal solution. The measurement range of the sensor, available with various cable lengths and also as an immersion rated (IP67) version, is ±15 g (-20...+65°C) at a resolution of 13 bits.
