Saves over 1billion measurement values,
fitted with 4 analogue inputs:
The new MSR160 datalogger
Dear [Anrede,fallback=] [fullname,fallback=],
We hope you had a good start to the New Year. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you
to our latest “prodigy”, the MSR160! Four integrated analogue inputs, a measurement rate of up to 1000/s
and a gigantic memory capacity of over 1bn measurement parameters, all packaged into a small format,
are the key characteristics of the new mini datalogger from MSR Electronics GmbH.
Logger for the most diverse applications
Versatility in use is ensured with the MSR160 because sensors for a wide range of measurement applications
(e.g. CO2, conductivity, pH etc.) can be connected to the integrated analogue inputs (0 to 3.0V, 12 bit).
In addition, a multiple output switching power supply is also provided.
The MSR160 is used for example in the automotive industry (vehicle manufacture and development),
in measuring and testing applications for railways and rolling stock and also in environmental
technology. Its robust design and small size makes the mini logger ideal for outdoor use, for
example taking measurements at wind power and other energy plants. With the corresponding sensors
connected the MSR160 is equally suitable for applications in the food industry, laboratory technology
and for patient monitoring.

The MSR165 has been nominated for the "MessTec & Sensor Masters Award 2010"
The well-known German trade magazine "MessTec & Automation" presents an award for particularly innovative products
in the field of measurement and sensor technology.
An independent jury of experts has selected seven products from the whole field of entrants. Among them: the 3-axis shock
datalogger MSR165 from MSR Electronics GmbH! The winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places are decided by industry specialists
– in other words you! We hope of course, that you will support the nomination of the MSR165 datalogger with your vote!
MessTec & Automation is giving away an 8GB iPod Touch in a free raffle among all participants who cast their vote in the MessTec & Sensor Masters Award 2010.
The deadline for receiving your votes is 5th March 2010. Thank you very much for your support!

Story of the month: eBay Magazine prefers MSR dataloggers
MSR145 & MSR165 used for the big German eBay Magazine parcel dispatch test
Six large parcel delivery companies are competing for the business of private eBay sellers in Germany. In November the German eBay Magazine used
the MSR145 and MSR165
dataloggers in a test to find out which of the delivery companies (DHL, DPD, GLS, Hermes, iloxx and UPS) took best
care of the goods. The high-tech dataloggers from MSR uncovered the details on what happened to the parcels in transit. The result:
parcels were not handled gently underway – the data recorded by the loggers indicated that the measurement threshold of 15g was exceeded
repeatedly for all of the parcels tested. In other words, the parcels were regularly subjected to forces of over 40kg. The temperature
variations during transit also proved interesting. The Hermes parcel reached 30 degrees but was then cooled down to 8 degrees. In addition
to the way in which the parcels were handled, the eBay Magazine test also took into consideration criteria such as price, speed of delivery,
customer service and other quality characteristics. The clear overall winner was… industry giant DHL! (Source: eBay Magazine 4/2009).
Protect your goods during transit!
Seamless data recording makes the monitoring of delicate goods in transit much simpler. Regardless of whether you as a manufacturer
are despatching machines worth several hundred thousand Francs to your customers, or if you are sending foodstuffs, chemicals or
other sensitive goods – the reliable recording of data is essential. Any damage during transit can be identified at an early stage
and conditions can be reconstructed fully – even questions of liability can be assessed objectively. Using one of the small MSR dataloggers
can save you a great deal of time, frustration and most of all, money!
