The easy to use MSR147W2D wireless data logger is ideal for remote monitoring of temperature and humidity. This can be of great benefit when testing the material and construction properties of functional clothing, for example. The temperature and humidity sensors, which are available in different cable lengths, can be easily attached to the body of a test person and the physiological parameters determined, such as skin temperature and moisture level can be conveniently accessed online via WiFi/WLAN.
Plug-in, pre-calibrated temperature and humidity sensors
The sensors supplied by MSR Electronics GmbH can be inserted and removed individually. Due to the automatic configuration feature, the data logger instantly recognises when a sensor is inserted. The calibration data is stored in the corresponding sensor. In addition to the plug-in temperature and humidity sensors, you can have your MSR147W2D equipped with an internal air pressure and/or acceleration sensor.
Integration in WLAN/WiFi network
No wiring costs and no time-consuming manual reading of measured values. Measured data can even be sent from places with difficult access. Integration either into an existing WiFi or via an access point, by means of mobile network access where required, into a separate wireless network.
Store and manage measurement data in the MSR LocalCloud or in the MSR SmartCloud
With the MSR147W2D, you have the option of using the MSR LocalCloud to store, manage and export the data either locally on your (company’s) own server or in the web-based cloud solution MSR SmartCloud.

2. Select the sensors.
Sensors measuring air pressure and 3-axis acceleration (static) are available as internal sensors. Five connections (IP 60) for plug-in, external, pre-calibrated humidity and temperature sensors in cable lengths of 0.20 m, 1.00 m or 1.60 m and a cable diameter of 2.2 mm (black cable, up to +75 °C). A cable diameter of 1.2 mm (white cable, up to +200 °C) is available on request.

3. Do you require a router to send the measurement data via WiFi?
A router will be needed if your MSR147W2D device is incorporated into a separate WiFi network or if measurement data is to be sent to MSR SmartCloud via a mobile network.

4. The use of MSR SmartCloud.
The cloud solution managed by MSR Electronics GmbH records data measured by MSR data loggers in a database. Through online access to MSR SmartCloud you are able to gain insight into your measured data, manage it, and create alert messages. When ordering the MSR147W2D data logger you will automatically receive the access code to MSR SmartCloud.

MSR147W2D Wireless (WiFi) Data Logger for measuring the physiological properties of textiles
Functional clothing is subjected to extensive testing, both in the laboratory and in the field, before entering the market. With the new MSR147W2D wireless data logger, MSR Electronics wants to make the complex measuring and monitoring of physiological parameters such as skin temperature and moisture level easier, and make it accessible to a wide user field.
