MSR PC Software Pro (Beta)

The new configuration and analysis software for MSR data loggers

MSR PC Software Pro is the next generation of our software for configuring and analysing MSR data loggers. Developed entirely from scratch, it offers significantly improved usability, a clearer interface and time-saving features for efficient data handling.

Currently, the latest data loggers of the MSR145 product family are supported. Support for additional logger models will be added in future releases. MSR PC Software Pro will gradually replace the previous MSR PC Software (Standard).

The beta version is fully functional and can be used productively. Currently, the MSR145, MSR145WD and MSR145W2D models are supported (compatible firmware versions: see the FAQ section at the bottom of this page). Support for additional models will be added gradually. As the previous MSR PC Software Standard is no longer being further developed, we recommend migrating to the new software. We are currently carrying out intensive testing and final optimisations.

Answers to common questions

No, not yet — however, we recommend migrating to the new software. While the previous software will continue to work, it is no longer being actively developed. MSR PC Software Pro offers significant advantages, including simpler logger configuration, improved overview of measurement data and enhanced usability.

The beta version is currently available in German and English. Additional language versions are in preparation.

All current models of the MSR145 family are supported (MSR145, MSR145WD and MSR145W2D). Support for additional MSR logger models is being added continuously.

For data loggers purchased before 2026, the following firmware compatibility applies:

  • MSR145 from firmware version V6.0
  • MSR145WD from firmware version V2.0
  • MSR145W2D from firmware version V2.0

Yes, currently without any issues.

Please note that the previous MSR PC Software is no longer being actively developed. Compatibility with future operating systems can therefore no longer be guaranteed.

Yes, MSR PC Software Pro installs independently from the previous MSR PC Software (Standard). However, we recommend not using both software versions simultaneously with the same data logger.

No, like the previous MSR PC Software, the new software is available free of charge to MSR customers.

Yes, the software includes a converter that transfers measurement data from older data files into the new file format.
